Description: This was a carving I made as a promise to my Grandfather, “Papa”, and everything carved on this headstone reflects his personality. He loved the outdoors and was a”Cracker-Jack Hunter” as my dad says. The front has an image of his dog Ginger with a dove in her mouth, one side of the headstone has a carving of a sunflower and the other side is a maze plant. He also liked to enjoy a “Cold-One” every now and then so I carved a life sized old fashioned pull top tab nestled in a crevasse. These are just a few of the little surprises on this headstone.
