Description: This was a replica that I carved for a family friend derived from a plaster sculpture that was placed outside and started to deteriorate over the years. I carved it by using an ancient tool called a “Pointing Machine” that was attached to the remains of the plaster sculpture as a reference to help guide me to a new carving that better represented the original.
